YOUNG BOYS CELEBRATE THEIR EQUALISER

Manchester united suffered a 2-1 defeat to Young Boys in Bern. In a game the red devils took the lead in the 13th minute after Bruno Fernades gave a brilliant pass to Cristiano Ronaldo who does what he usually does, putting the ball into the net.

The game took another dimension after the half-hour mark when Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka was sent off for a foul on Young Boys player Christopher Martins.

The home side went on dominating the game after the dismissal of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and equalised in the 66th minute through Nicolas Ngamaleu. They kept pushing and knocking to get a winner but the Red Devils defence stood solid and repelled all that the home side threw at them. But it seems nothing was going to deny the home team all three points, Theoson Jordan Siebatcheu popped up to take advantage of a mistake and scored the winning goal which was virtually the last kick of the game.

The 40000 crowds in camp Nou saw an even contest in the first quarter-hour, soon FC Bayern began to assert their authority in the game. Dictating the pace of the game.

At the other end, Roberto fired over after Ter Stegen saved a deflected Goretzka effort.

Sané was denied by Ter Stegen before Musiala and Kimmich had their efforts blocked. Müller scored with the help of a deflection to give Bayern the lead. Bayern led 1-0 at halftime when a Jordi Alba cross eluded de Jong.

The second half began similarly to the first, with Barcelona matching FC Bayern stride for stride, but Bayern eventually took control. Müller diverted a Busquets shot aside before Ter Stegen made another wonderful save to deny Sané. But a second goal was on the way, and it came when Musiala hit the post, but the ball only went as far as Lewandowski, who mopped it up.

Bayern had shifted down a gear, so there was little of note in terms of attacking for a while. Philippe Coutinho, a former Bayern Munich player, aimed too high, making Neuer a virtual spectator throughout the contest. In the closing moments, FC Bayern Munich increased the pressure, with Sabitzer hitting the side-netting, but the final flourish came when Serge Gnabry struck the post and Lewandowski was the first to react, sidestepping an opponent before slamming home, and match official Michael Oliver blew for full-time.
