GROUP I :Saka and Lingard shines

Bukayo Saka and Jesse Lingard stole the show in England thrashing of Andorra. Harry Kane the England Captain was also on the scoresheet.

Albania defeats Hungary 1-0, in the other group game, Adam Buksa scored a hat trick while Robert Lewandowski scored a brace in a 7-1 demolition of San Marino.




GROUP C: Jorginho missed a penalty


Chelsea midfielder missed a penalty as European Champions Italy played a goalless draw with Switzerland. Italy has now equalled the world record for international matches unbeaten.

In the other group game, Bulgaria defeats Lithuania 1-0 on Sunday.




GROUP B: Spain hammers Georgia


Spain ran riot against Georgia defeating them 4-0. Three first-half goals from Jose Gaya, Carlos Soler, Ferran Torres, showed Spain meant business and a fourth was added from Pablo Sarabia after half time break. Spain sits top of the group with five games played, one ahead of Sweden who has two games in hand. The number of goals Spain scored gives them a better goal difference than their rivals.

In the other game, Kosovo drew 1-1 with Greece.



GROUP J: Germany is back

Gnabry scored a brace as Germany dealt severely with Armenia 6-0. Germany sits top of Group J with twelve points from five games played.

Armenia is second in the group, two points behind Germany while Romania is third on nine points, one ahead of North Macedonia who drew 2-2 with Iceland.



GROUP E: Gareth Bale scores Hat-trick



Real Madrid star Gareth Bale scores a hat-trick to help Wales stage a 3-2 comeback victory against Belarus. They are just one point behind the second-placed Czech Republic with two games in hand. It is looking good for Wales who is now favourite to finish as runners-up to Belgium.

Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku reached a 100th cap for Belgium, scoring in the 8th minute in Belgium 3-0 victory against Czech Republic.
