The Queen Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter is 40years old. She is an American singer, actress and songwriter.
She has won twenty-eight Grammy awards, the most ever won by any female.
Beyonce rose to fame in the late 1990s as the lead singer of Destiny's Child, one of the best selling girl groups of all time.
Her first solo album was in 2003, Dangerously in Love, the second album B'Day was in 2006 following the disbanding of Destiny's Child. The album had in it hit tracks "Beautiful Liar" and "Irreplaceable".
Her third album I am.....Sasha in 2008 led to the record-making of winning six Grammy awards. Hit singles in the album; Halo, Put a ring on it, If I Were a Boy, Single Ladies.
MARKING HER 40TH BIRTHDAY
On Saturday, Sept. 4, the Ivy Park founder celebrated the important milestone by posting a beautiful collage on her eponymous website that highlighted her decades-long profession as well as personal events.
The website included rare photos of Beyoncé from 1981 to 2021, including throwback photos from her Destiny's Child days, behind-the-scenes looks at her eye-catching fashion throughout the years, her epic award wins, and adorable candid family photos with her husband Jay-Z, daughter Blue Ivy, 9, and twins Sir and Rumi, 4.
The gorgeous Beyonce has not make comment on her Birthday celebration.
